Blaze & Kelly

Blaze & Kelly (Singer/songwriter, Niccole Blaze and her bassist, Mo Kelly) have been singing and bantering on stage for a good 15 years now. That kind of experience really shows through when they perform. I caught them at Talon Tap & Spirits in Meridian on Saturday, January 4. 2025. Along the way. we heard music from Pink Floyd, Tracey Chapman, Rolling Stones, David Gray, Sting, Box Tops, Dobie Gray, The Eagles and this original called “Deep”.

Reisto Belovich

Reisto Belovich is a Treasure Valley musician who played a solo show at Swirl Wine Shop & Lounge in downtown Nampa on Friday, December 27, 2024. In addition to solo shows, he plays keyboards for Lee & Friends. During this solo show, he played jazz and pop standards from people like Frank Sinatra, Bill Withers, CCR, Eric Clapton, Bad Company, Journey, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Elton John, Mamas & Papas, and this from Billy Joel.

Vibeka Amador

Vibeka Amador is a Treasure Valley singer/songwriter who transitioned her focus from fronting a band to a solo Americana/Country/Indie presentation. Also, don’t be surprised if she throws in a little Taylor Swift, which she did Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Mesquite Creek Outfitters in Caldwell. Vibeka may have more than her share of break-up songs in her portfolio, and here’s one called “My Breakup With You”.

Sydney Dawn

Sydney Dawn is a Boise-based singer/songwriter, who made the move from Sandpoint, ID just a few months ago.She played an interesting variety of music, new and old, at Indian Creek Winery Saturday afternoon. We heard songs from people like Nat King Cole, Emma Stone, Ed Sheeran, Bob Dylan, Bobby McFerrin, Hayley Taylor, Ben E King, and more. She also played an original called “The Fisherman’s Daughter” about healing from a lost love.

Matty J & the Grays

Matty J & the Grays (Matty J on rhythm guitar & lead vocals, Nik Mathews on lead guitar, Landonious on bass, & David Kelley on drums) played Whiskey River in Downtown Nampa on Saturday, December 7. I’ve seen half these guys do acoustic shows and I was excited to see the whole band. A good amount of Rock and Blues was heard, including this George Michael classic.
